MultiThreaded Mayhem MTMII 2013: $1000 in cash prizing! And Motherboards! - Page 68

Hi there!

I would love to know how this works.

EDIT:
Ignore my idiocy!
I forgot to change the thread number LOL.
I'll post results very soon smile.gif

EDIT 2:

Here's my wPrime initial entry @4.5ghz - Intel 8 threads (i7 3770K)

EDIT 3:
Can someone run me through how to use 3D mark...all the "options" are locked - more so how do I choose to disable phyX

I said 1 module for every 2 cores tongue.gif
But the BD architecture does surpass almost everything out their when used in programs it was designed for.

You said about the Cache issue, which for this benchmark, is slightly less of a hindrance than the FPU shortage.

Or a 990X or a 3960X, or 3970X, or a 3770K, or even a 3820 (Note: I listed all processors OBVIOUSLY better than the 8350).

Then you can knock the 3770 and 3820 off that list.

And possibly the 990X, it's starting to show it's age and they don't OC as well as Sandy/Ivy.

990x may not overclock as well as a really good ivy, but more cores still lead to higher scores for this comp. 990x still overclocks better than most sandy though, I have a 3930k also but plan to use the 990x since it will beat the crap out of my 5300Mhz 3930k in wprime. Sandy would do better in vantage cpu, but will go for the better 2 out of 3.

If I can get loaded up on ln2 again before it's over....

Ah, right, 990x is the Hex. I was thinking the 3820 equivalent for some reason.

Ya, 990X is back on the table then, that thing has a lot of life left in it.
