Make sure it is enabled in nvidia control panel (set to gpu instead of cpu), & in 3dmark vantage (in the options page 'disable ppu' NOT checked).

Keep in mind physx is not the way it is meant to be played (games that support it, sure. But benchies with it are invalid).

I put the physX to auto (and it automatically selected the GPU)
I'll do one more just before I go to bed, this time with it set to the GPU ONLY.

As for the 3D mark settings- i cannot touch any settings, as I have the free version! frown.gif

Yes. Shouldn't make any difference with AMD, but when the physx box in gpu-z is unchecked it makes it easy to see in screenshots.

That is it then, in the newer versions of vantage it is disabled at default, older versions had it enabled at default, so there used to be more issues with new benchers submitting results with it enabled.

Thanks a lot for the input guys.
I forgot I put hpet of again, and it froze as I tried to run it again. Doing it now with it enabled I'll track back here with those results smile.gif

Out of interest, what would you select anyway, gpu/cpu or auto?

EDIT:
Here it is:
http://www.3dmark.com/3dmv/4522798

=P31473

(a lower score than one of my previous ones)
I thus can CONFIRM that physX does not play ANY part on the GPU, whilst using 3D Mark Vantage

Maybe I should try this?

Disable PPU is checked in the free version, so it should not have any effect.

There was a question earlier about my running the same 960T in the X4 and X 6 classes . Hope this sets everyone's mind at ease that they are indeed 2 different chips in 2 different machines smile.gif.
If not, I would gladly bow out of one of the classes rather than jeopardize the integrity of what is a great competition.
