Just a Hyper 212 EVO on push only.

Yeah, 4.5 is pretty good for that cooler; I was only able to get 4.6 on a cooler of similar performance.

I think you could push it a little more if your feeling risky for some benches. It IS nerve racking but also exciting. smile.gif But based on what you said, I'm not sure how much more you would be able to get out of that chip. According to these stats, your chip is in a relatively low percentile for 4.9ghz. I know I have a decent chip that is in the top 10% for 4.5ghz, and top ~35% for 5ghz. I think you could hit 5ghz if you tried. I've ran more voltage and at higher heat than you, but my chip is under water. (kinda, AIO counts right? tongue.gif)

Yeah...maybe I'll take my time tonight and step up very slowly from 4.4ghz...My MB has max 1.5v vcore setting...so 4.9ghz might be my ceiling for a while.

I can't get under 8.564 with my Phenom II 970 on air. Plus I think my mobo isn't up to anything over 4.3.. So I'm done after one last update for w/prime 32. If I'm not lazy after work I'll get a rig pic up as well. Time for a simple WC loop thumb.gif
post #989 of 1709
Do I need to run all benches for chance to win one of the mobos?
Not gonna risk my cpu higher then 1.5v for too long.. lol
Did 5.26ghz some time ago with my vlx mobo xD. That silver arrow sbe cools pretty damn good!
I'm going for 4.9 at least. My mobo needs much voltage for those oc tongue.gif
post #990 of 1709
SmileMan you just have to run the tests even at stock will do and yes you have to run all 3
