SLi or New Card?

Thread Starter
I currently have an XFX 7600 GT with a Zalman vf700, and a non-SLi, SATA150 board. I also have a $250 USD (very flexible) budget.

So my question: Should I get a new board or a better video card?

Please keep in mind that I am an nVidia guy. Also, suggestions of specific parts are more than welcome

A new board must have 4+ SATA ports, and integrated FireWire.

Thanx in advance!!!

In that price range, you're best using an x1950PRO, even as an NVIDIA guy, sorry. Much better performance at a lower cost.

Or you can save up for an 8-series card in a few months.

Buy a X1950XT. It beats every single-gpu from nVidia, save the 8xxx series.

Well, it seems as if going SLi at this point wouldn't be bright

Any word on when the nVidia 8 cards will be lower in price?
