Overclocking Xbox Trinity and/or Corona

Thread Starter
I knew a guy who overclocked his xbox's CPU/GPU, but that was on the old xbox Elite, not the xbox slim (no they aren't the same thing, elite came out before slim, then when slim released they stopped making the elite, and later renamed the slim elite)

I was wondering if this is possible with the new (Trinity) Valhalla, and the new Corona motherboards. Post with details if you know anything on the matter biggrin.gif

Are you sure he overclocked it??biggrin.gif I'm quite knowledgeable in the xbox modding scene and have never heard of overclocking a xbox 360. I'm pretty sure the xbox is locked.. Unless you're referring to this "guide" on ehow http://www.ehow.com/how_7499711_overclock-xbox.html - LOL. A quick google and thats all I found

Anyway, its not like the xbox doesn't perform well, apart from the overheating -which OC'ing would just increase the likelihood of - tand crappy design the console is still pretty awesome biggrin.gif. If you're looking to make it perform better, jtag/rgh her, buy yourself a 1TB harddrive, hook it up to where your original hdd is and rip all your disc games onto and play from there thumb.gif

If you need anyhelp in the matter, let me know wink.gif
