I have my eye on the 27" version, just waiting for some solid reviews on it now. Pixel density doesn't mean much to me considering my eye's are shot lol, mostly interested in its input lag and color reproduction.

I'm hoping for the same on the 23" as well as no/little ips glow/back light bleed. One video I saw it looked amazing, vibrant, and awesome contrast.

too bad that it's not 1440p

27" 2560*1440 vs the 29" 2560*1080 they plan to release to remain competitive they would both have to be priced at $500-$600, this would be the reason why they don't want another item of the mx line competing with each other at all.

Well, here it is smile.gif

Not really the reviewing type, so I'll just list my general thoughts on this monitor...

This thing is beautiful! This is also the largest monitor I've owned as well, coming from a 22" LG E2281VR-BN. It's a substantial difference.

The monitor seems solidly built and is very sturdy on its metal base. Looks and feels like quality (which it should for $350)

Picture quality is pretty outstanding after some tweaking. TBH, I wasn't too impressed with it straight out of the box... But after playing around with all the settings (mostly with the RGB, brightness, contrast, and saturation levels), I think I finally have it set to my liking. Colors are amazingly vivid on this screen. Viewing angles are also superb.

Not really a fan of the touch-sensitive menu buttons... Can be more troublesome to navigate through over physical buttons, imo.

Speakers weren't really a selling point for me, though they sound decent for the short time I listened to them. I prefer my Klipsch Promedia's.

I have no trouble playing games on this. Though my LG is 5ms as well so I'm kind of use to the slower response time redface.gif

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this monitor. I would've liked a higher resolution, but 1080p fits my needs just fine thumb.gif

Price I paid was $349.99 + free shipping @ Newegg
