Possible to Disassemble Corsair AF120mm & SP120mm?

Title pretty much already is in detail but I will ask again xD

It is possible to disassemble Corsair Air Series Fans, AF120mm, AF140mm & SP120MM?
Bearing Type: Hydraulic

The reason I want to know it because I have this good blue/white theme going on and I want to paint them white or have them painted white since I will just botch it up.

-Thank You

Well, I know it can be done, now I wonder if it's easy. I guess I will have to make a Corsair Forum account and ask there or the OP there.

Thanks for finding it! thumb.gif

Just to let anyone know, I decided to paint my extra Corsair AF120mm fan, I took off the back and front stick, there is no way to take it apart, unless you pull it apart and I didn't want to do that.

There is nothing in the front and the back just has a few vents, unless I had to drill it which I don't have a drill nor the experience to drill.

I put another coat on tried to make it look even, will be testing it soon.

It's just one fan but thank you, it turned out well for me. I will be doing them all when Spring/Summer hits.

1] Paint on a warm day [mine turned out good but it is Winter]
2] Paint with any paint that is designed for Plastic [this was my first run and I'm a noob and just wanted to see if possible, so I painted with Krylon Primer/Paint frown.gif]
3] Take off Front/Back stickers
4] Cover back hole up with small piece of tape
5] Undo wire and cover as much as possible
6] Take out rubber holders with flat head screw driver
7] Life fan up a little and cover gap with half pieces of toilet paper or maybe a shoe string
8] Paint like a pro, do all that painting sensible things.
9] Put rubber holders back in with your hand, squeeze it together and place in, should unfold into place xD

Flippin' enjoy your new awesome colored Corsair Fans.
I plan on doing a tutorial this Summer, when I can take all my fans out and paint correctly.

Still turned out great for my first time. thumb.gif
