Well, I bit the bullet and ordered the Kone XTD since it was on sale on newegg for $79.99!

Tempted to order a Kone Pure. I like the LED aesthetics much better, and I also think I might like a smaller mouse.

I gamed with a tiny cheap Logitech for a loooooong time, then made then jump to a palm-grip sized Mionix 3200. it was quite a shock to the system. Even with the Mionix I still use the fingertip grip while gaming, but sometimes I relax into palm grip for internet browsing, etc.

Not sure if I would like the Kone Pure or not.

Thank you.

I'm really hoping they will make some of their mice specifically for left handed users, like the Razer DA left-handed edition, I really like the Roccat product designs.

I can tell you that I'm not bothered buy the size of the XTD (I was using a Sensei before), but then again I also really like the Pure even if it is smaller. Esthetically speaking, I agree with you, the Pure looks better (turning off the light makes the XTD look less tacky).

But the build quality of both mice feels excellent with plenty of features and great drivers.

Even though the size of the Kone XTD is a better fit for my hand size i ended up playing with the Pure. Ok there are several reasons for that but one is also that i feel "too" relaxed on the xtd smile.gif.

Finally changed the Kova+ for a Kone XTD because of the size. This thing is *confortable*.

But I still need help with what I commented on #310

Hey guys, got my Kone XTD today and loving it so far:

Couple things though:
I noticed that I can't control iTunes via the mediaplayback controls for the Kone XTD, anyone got it to work or know why?
The software is INCREDIBLY SLOW to update changes to the mouse, takes like 5-8 secs, is that normal? I tried reinstalling the program but it's still really slow...
Also the color flow doesn't seem to work the way I envisioned, though I still love it.

The color flow can be changed in the settings and make sure to update the firmware and you will have no log making changes.
Congrats!

Probably the apply time is caused by your AV software. Add exceptions for the roccat software and it should apply instantly afterwards.

iTunes: Did you try to use the keys that are used by iTunes by default? I think F7 to F11 are the keys that are configurated in iTunes for the media controls.

I have been eyeing up one recently, saw it was on sale too and decided to grab it! Didn't have free shipping but still a good bit cheaper on newegg since amazon charges me sales tax now. Even decided to get a new mouse pad. I said I would never would buy a razer product ever again but picked up the vespula mouse pad. We will see how that one works out.
