Didn't found an answer from him or anyone else so if you are interested:

I had the Taito and Sota, as well as Steelseries QcK, some old Raptor Pad (Hard Plastic) and one rly old cloth pad (can't remember anymore which one). Short story: cloth pads are impossible to keep clean over time - you have to change ever 1-2 years, speed is lower and precision with laser is not the best. hard pads are missing control, beeing loud, not flexible or comfort.

This is where hybrid pads come in. Before Hiro i had the Sota with it's integrated metal foil and granit surface seemed to be a good mix. But it was just soft to the skates, not the hand and mainly over time the metal foil deformed irreversible. Now with the Hiro i think i found what i always looked for: an flexible and easy to clean pad allowing precise aiming (but i just tested 3 mice) while being silent and soft to skates and hands. One remark: might be valid for all Hybrid Silikon pads like CM Sorm Power RX.

On topic - any reward if i am in the club? biggrin.gif Got Kone XTD and Hiro 3D

Yeah...I know what you mean about Amazon charging taxes! Newegg had the kone xtd out of stock so I looked it up in amazon and it was like $9 more for taxes! Good thing it came back in stock at newegg and around $10 cheaper than before...so I went for it! I've never tried razer products since all I hear is buttons not working after a while or what not. I've only owned one gaming mouse and that is the CM Storm INFERNO....I love that mouse but it's not as smooth as I would like. I really like the buttons it has next to the right and left click and for FPS they are great! Since I haven't been able to find a mouse that has those two extra buttons next to the right and left click buttons, I figured the tilt wheel on the Kone XTD will make up for it!

Congrats!
Thanks, I absolutely love it

iTunes: Did you try to use the keys that are used by iTunes by default? I think F7 to F11 are the keys that are configurated in iTunes for the media controls.

Thanks for the help buddy. I actually emailed ROCCAT support and they said it is a known issue caused by the most recent iTunes update, and a firmware patch will be coming out soon to address it.

I finally started getting around to modifying my easy shift keys and profiles on my isku and kone+.

I've been playing Aion a lot more lately and holy crap is it MUCH easier now. I have 3 skill bars and can access every skill on either 3 without ever moving my hand or having to do akward alt+ or ctrl+ keys. Same with my mouse. i don't have to move my hand off it to hit page up to fly and a few other things like that. I still will probably modify the layout a bit more but for now it makes life so much easier!

I can't wait for the Ryos MK Pro to come out though. That damn board is epic. 2 arm processors, individually lit keys + mechanical. Iirc EVERY key is easy shift capable as well.

freaking nuts that it needs 2 arm processors though. One controls the keys themselves (for easy shift and such) the other controls JUST the lighting.

And with the new Apuri 2.0/Power-Grid comming it really rocks (any keybord with display/g keys wont be nessacary anymore). I just would like to see the Ryos MK Pro with RGB leds (not that i would need different colors the same time but having the same color as the mouse).

Thread Starter
what is this "apuri 2.0"?
Also, sorry I've been behind on the additions to the group everyone. Spring break really gets ya haha rolleyes.gif

Ok, I added taco and diNovoM, let me know if I missed anyone.

Also, I CANNOT FREAKIN WAIT for the RYOS to finally come out biggrin.gif

The Ryos looks like a nice pice of hardware, but what I will really love to see is a keypad from Roccat. Roccat build quality + EasyShift + somewhat official Linux support will be a killer combination IMO.

An extra docking station: http://power-grid.roccat.org/?page=hardware - you might check video at http://www.mmorpgitalia.it/site/content.php?4109-Roccat-Power-Grid-Interview-with-Ren%E9-Korte&4109-Roccat-Power-Grid-Interview-with-Ren%C3%A9-Korte=

Btw. anyone got some news on releae date for Ryos MK Pro or Apuri 2.0? First it was end of 2012 (maybe they hoped Armageddon would come and they don't have to release it biggrin.gif). Now i just can find first quarter 2013 - thats over in not even 2 weeks.
