I just got an answer from Roccat: there won't be something like that - reason: Cherry MX Switches don't got enough pins to manage RGB leds on them. And changing each switch would rise the price significantly. They also confirmed Q2, probably mid/end may. Power grip also to be released soon but without date.

So if you don't like blue just can mod it to another color?

modding it would require soldering each LED back to the mainboard, and you'd probably lose the per-key illumination, as I'm betting thats tied to the mainboard as well.

But I dont mind Blue, even though I'd rather it be white lighting

U're sure? Didn't have any cherry mx keybord with leds. What might still work: cut the leds up from the top and bring the new one on.

I'm not sure, but my current board (CM Storm Trigger) has per-key backlighting, but it's not per-key customizable.

Honestly, the corsair K70 which was just anounced with per key backlighting may gt my $$ at this point, if it's cheaper and released before the Roccat board. I REALLY want talk though...redface.gif

AAAND it is:

$130 and available in April

You're right :/ it would need 2 more pins to control an rgb led, and after looking at the diagram, they only have 2 led pins and the 2 switch pins.

Anybody else has their mouse plugged in in a usb 3.0 port? I used to have my old mouse plugged in in one but for some reason, my roccat doesn't want to work in a usb 3.0 port thinking.gif
