Best additions for the Swan M50W

I have a swan m50w. My music quality avg. is 320+ kbps. I use these with my computer. I have two main questions.

1) What are the best upgrades/add-ons that I can get to make these sound even better? I know that a dac and new interconnects will help. Is there anything else?

2) I am on a budget so I'd have to buy the upgrades one at a time. So what should I buy first/ what makes the biggest sound quality difference?

Sorry, I never saw this post.

I would say that the audio engine D1 dac/amp combo would be pretty nice. What you would do is use optical out to your D1 dac and then RCA into your swans.

It is not what I would call a budget addition, but you could save up some money. For being under 200 bucks, with RCA output, it is a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the info. By combo, are you implying that there is a separate amp/dac that audio engine sells or that they come as a combined product? Also, I was thinking that it would cost a lot for quality cables which is why I thought that I'd have to budget myself.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
