MOD: Old A+ diablo case Work Log - Page 2

Just to show that I was not procrastinating during the last month, I did manage to re-purpose an old power supply to aid me with the custom I/o panel circuit board.
I used an article I found online, if you are interested.
http://stuffandymakes.com/2012/08/04/pc-power-supply-repurposed-for-bench-breadboard-tinker-use/

I simply just used that article to identify the wires and output.

Here is a before and after look. (a similar 300 watt power supply next to my re-purposed one.)

More to come when I find time.

Sorry guys, I have been really busy and unable to post to OCN. I will hopefully be able to resume the mod in may. I cannot guarantee this but I hope to continue on it. It is not over.

Finally got some time on my hands after I got rear-ended on the way home from work. So I started off by continuing some work on the left side panel. So far made an outline on the plexi for the cuts, once I will cut and bend it, I will probably take more pictures, if not I will post the results before I prep the panel for paint.

So I ended up making all the cuts and bends

And.....
This happened....

So after it snapped, I just left it... I will retry this again later but this is kind of the idea. If I will have time I will make a mold press instead. More updates coming, just not too soon. Until next time.

That is something that I need to look into, Thanks for the information, and again any and all suggestions are more than welcome.

Go for it! I am sure it would be a great project, and it is always interesting to see what other do with their mods.
