What is going on here??

Hey everyone so recently i restarted my computer and afterwards it would not post just sat with the computer lights running and the monitor with no signal, i held down the power button for 3 seconds and reset and after that it restarts fine no issues iv tried restarting over 30 times and it works each time, So why did that happen? Hardware going bad or what? Do you think a CMOS reset would help? Just wondering why that happened once.

I went through something similar. After scratching my head forever, and the problem actually getting worse (happening more frequently), I decided to RMA my PSU. Turns out my 12v rail was failing. New PSU, and good as new.

Iv reset the CMOS on the computer it could have been a BIOS glitch since i recently updated to 3603, if this occurs ill consider the PSU.
