Need desperate help with Router.

Thread Starter
Well as the title states I need some help figuring out what kind of router to get to be able to support all the stuff I have connected to my poor router now.

Currently my router tries to keep up with 1 PC(All the time on), 1 XBOX 360, 1 Internet TV Receiver(All the time on), which are all wired. I also have 2 wireless laptops one in the living room and one in bedroom and another 2 wireless connections to our smartphones. All in all we have 7 connections going through our router right now and everyone in the family seems to have some issues with the internet from slow laptops to the internet TV disconnecting and my Xbox 360 being on moderate NAT during peak hours.

I also have an issue with one of our laptops not being able to get the N+ signal as it is an older laptop. Our ISP is Charter and I am running the 30Mbps/4Mbps. I am also not sure if 30Mbps is enough for all the stuff or if it is down to the router. I am looking to spend $100 max.

Hello smile.gif
This is the router I have and use to power:
-Three dedicated servers
-One gaming pc; in sig smile.gif
-three iPhones and a mac
-two laptops

It is the highest rated in the price range on newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122326

It gives you 4 gigabit ethernet plugs and dual band wifi; 2.4GHz and 5GHz

Hope this helps thumb.gif
