even with Synapse 2.0 installed, it will always be pulsating.

Yeah, that was my out-of-the-box experience. I installed Synapse, turned off all lighting (paired with my CM Trigger it looks like it's Christmas), and changed my settings. It's a good thing I can at least set 1 profile to be stored in whatever memory it has.

I bought my DA 2013 today but ran into some problems with my soft Qpad CT mouse pad. The pad has the Asus ROG logo on it and when I slowly move the mouse over the logo, the cursor pauses for a brief time. It looks like the sensor cannot handle sharp color changes ( black < - > white) on the mouse pad.

I updated the mouse with Synapse and calibrated it manually several times. My DPI is 600. Changing the LoD didn't seem to do anything. Any one else has this?

Nope.
QCK Heavy here and i can go over the white steelseries logo without problems.

Try a reset.

How do i check the firmware I currently have now ?
I bought it, connected, installed synapse and I dunno if it updated it or not, I don't know what was the old version, I don't know the current version, and I don't know what is the new version.

Just go online in Synapse, if it doesn't offer you to update the driver and the firmware then you are good...

I don't recommend doing manual calibration. The mouse performs worse on my Puretrak Talent after I calibrate it. Best to turn off calibration and leave it at default

Regardless if it's beneficial or not, does anyone know if the surface calibration sticks after uninstalling the Synapse? Just trying to figure out what sticks and what doesn't considering this mouse doesn't technically have "onboard memory". Also, does the lighting stay off after uninstalling the software? Just trying to save myself a little bit of time. I've gone thru 4 different mice in the past month as well as 3 different mousepads. Yeah, I'm a little picky, but the DA2013 and the Puretrak Talent are feeling pretty nice right now!

Welp, so much for that. Stepped away from my computer for 10 minutes, came back and the my mouse started to skip. Rebooted, and it's dead. That's great.

Im just wandering does the Razer Calibrator helps to get better precision? I've noticed that it slows down my mouse but just a bit.
