Going to give this thread a bump as it seems to have lots of good info in it.

I just got the death adder 2013 and its great, except for one thing.
When I lift my mouse off the desk to move it back into the center of the tracking area, sometimes there will be a 1-2 second lag before the cursor moves again. This is obviously a huge problem. I tried the scotch tape trick, but the cursor would not move at all with that. I have not tried the white sheet of paper trick yet.
Anyone else have this issue?

My Razer DeathAdder 2013 is working fine. It was acquired in Europe.

Now that I think of it, I remember having a similar issue. I figured out that it was because I was bumping my left hand on my laptop's integrated touchpad. Apparently, as opposed to what happened why I plugged in my Razer Naga, as I plugged in the Razer DeathAdder the touchpad was not automatically disabled.

Although my problem isn't specifically dealing with this issue, I'm having an issue where my Deathadder 2013 isn't working on my SteelSeries QcK mousepad. When I use it on cheap old mousepad which is a lot thicker than my cloth SS QcK pad, it works perfectly. This seems strange as I've seen several youtube videos of people using the Deathadder 2013 with the SteelSeries QcK mousepad so I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the optical sensor in the mouse?

This is still happening, it started yesterday

It happened 4-5 times yesterday, I even uninstalled Synapse but nothing helps
