Price difference: Korean monitor vs Dell U2713HM

I have been debating between these monitors for a while now. It seems the Korean monitors prices have rocketed up due to popularity. Now that the price is $450-$500 for a monitor what would be the advantage of getting one of these vs the $650 Dell 2713HM?

I would still stick to the Dell, at least you've got warranty against defects. I love the look of them too!

Dell has an anti-glare coating that many people don't like.

Otherwise the dell has warranty and looks better.

it all depends on what you want and how big of a risk you want to take, If you have a Microcenter nearby, they sell them in store and you can return it if you don't like it, however the crossover from ebay has a much better stand. Now as far as the dells go, you do have a warranty, but Dell states that I think it's up to 5 pixels can still be stuck and it won't count as a defect.

And as far as the anti glare goes, I Have a 23 inch dell and I don't mind it, but i also have a very sunny room, so sometimes i actually am glad I have it on.

The same as it has always been - you save money. But a $450 vs a Dell U2713hm is pretty much all Dell - the U2713hm can get down to $550 and you get a superior monitor. That is, if you manage to catch a good Dell sale (or can bargain with the customer service reps). The koreans are nice - for their price. They aren't anywhere near as nice compared to the U2713hm.
