Thick TV's are indeed cool and feel premium.

You're the only person who says that thick TV's are cool and feel premium.

Thin HDTV's are the most premium and expensive and also the most energy efficient and best looking.

Thinner TV's with no bezels are the best. This is why most manufacturers are racing towards a thinner panel with more features, better image quality and superior contrast ratios while decreasing the bezel size.

Give it a couple years and TVs will simply be a pane of "glass" using some sort of crazy TFT-LCD or OFET technology....all speculation of course but it wouldn't be impossible

OLED is useless. I really wish they would stop pushing it and move on to a better technology.

OLED suffers permanent, irreparable burn in. Much worse, and happens much faster than any Plasma or CRT screen.

Unless they found a way to solve that; which at this early in development, I highly doubt.

Please talk when they actually sell them and they get reviewed by the tech experts.

You sound like someone from the stone age.

OLED burn-in is well documented.

Oxygen and leakage current are the contributing factors to OLED burn in, and it is irreparable.

But, I'll go back to the stone age.

Recent OLED panels don't do this.

No thanks. I will wait until the world gets its green head out of its green ass and uses conventional (semiconductor) LED technology instead of this OLED crap.
