More build updates coming later today/early tomorrow biggrin.gif

OK I am thinking something like the Mad Catz Cyborg Gaming Lights but not specifically that. it comes with amBX software that can be used to light up during certain events. So i imagine if this exist then there has to be a PC lighting mod that can do the same thing and is application controlled to light up. I started a thread: http://www.overclock.net/forum/newestpost/1349712 asking modders of OCN for help as well.

I had some ideas I sent you in a PM.
I'm really liking that front panel. Is it acrylic? I'm thinking I might try and duplicate it but with my own design of course biggrin.gif

I can answer that. It's a case bought from here: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=103_970&zenid=361734d24d38bef6872022059a6a5cb9

They don't sell the front panel by itself either frown.gif

OK OK OK biggrin.gif First of all I wanted to paint my harddrive brackets to match the exterior fire red color. Perhaps I will mold these into transparent red thumb.gif

Ooh shiny... tongue.gif

I also ordered LED's from Tom.
http://modelersbrand.com/

Here is what I received:

Right now these are red LED's and they will stay red. They will go in inconspicuous locations so the strips will not be seen but the glowing of the red will. I will be ordering some green LED's soon thumb.gif Working on how we can get the green LED's to glow AFTER the PC is shut off--for a short period of time. I did so far add a small strip to the back side of my front panel as pictured below:

I have since put the mesh back on and cut a little hole out for the wires to come thru to go into the case. I will be testing it out later today to be sure they work as intended thumb.gif I got my motherboard, ram, 2 x 2tb WDD Red NAS hdd's. They are only going to be for storage anyways so I saved a few bucks biggrin.gif I do have a 2tb Black Caviar WD hdd for Steam and other games. I also got the Phanteks red CPU cooler and a Sata power and Sata III extension in white. i should have gotten those 2 cables from Frozen CPU as they have the ones with the white connectors. Hmmm... thinking.gif Oh a an all white Bitfenix red LED 140mm exhaust fan too

I am still waiting on my sleeving and white connectors, the i5 3570k, and... and... something else... I ferget tongue.gif Enjoy as there is more to come thumb.gif

I just ordered a small piece of red acrylic sheet 1/8" I am going to use it to make a PSU extender so I am not cramming cables in there. Then of course I will make a mold and casting of it biggrin.gif There is just enough to put LEDs there as well so it shines up real nice
