Sapphire HD 7870 XT based on AMD Tahiti LE chip - Page 12

What kind of overclock are you guys getting on this card? I can't get mine stable past 1180MHz with a 1660 memory and Plus 20 percent power, I've tried on Trixx, Afterburner and asus gpu tweak. This is the absolute max I can get, even if I up the voltage to near max... Also at that setting I'm scoring just over 6000 on firestrike on 3dmark.. How about you guys? I've been wondering if I just got a lemon of a card because I see many posts about how people have got their cards to 1300mhz no problem.

Leave memory @ stock speed 1500Mhz.
Set 1200Mhx to the core, Volt 1.25 (with force constant disabled) which is around 1.21-1.22V real and power limit +15.
At least mine doesnt like memory o/c and volts above 1.25 (real).
3Dmark11 9321 score.

Hi all , 1st time poster here, long time reader..

Heres the problem, i have bought a club3d 7870xt tahiti 2gb , and when i try applying some oc to it my core clock mhz just jump around from stock value 925 to whatever value i put in it for example 1000mhz.. i use msi afterburner and got ccc 13.2..

i do not know what im doing wrong here, i hope i dont have to trade it for a new one, been loving using it thus far!

thanks daniel

I actually expected better scores from an XT at those speeds.
