I am personally moving my system to a Phanteks Enthoo Primo case pretty soon. You can take a look on the space inside the Fractal case in my build log (sig below).

hey there

I bought my Define XL R2 about a month ago and now I am wondering - is there any place I can buy a side panel window for it ?

I love the sound dampening material but I would love more if I can see inside of my case through some big window window like on Corsair 750D / 800D / 900D.

I cant find it anywhere.

Thanks

I do not believe there is any official one. if you have access to the tools, a DIY window isn't that hard, really only requires a cutout, the acrylic, a dremel, some u-shaped rubber or similar to cover the cut edges and an adhesive to attach the acrylic. Alternatively, hobby shops(like water cooling sites) have bolt on windows that only require the actual cutting to install. this path is pricier though

I'm not entirely sure, but doesn't the windowed panel of the Arc XL fit on the Define XL R2.

Very clean, nice cable management, lots of noctua. Looks good. thumb.gif

Hi,

Got this case. At first sight severely impressed with the looks. Huge. Monolithic.
But dissappointing too. The backscrew is misaligned. Paint chipped. And doesnt seem to fit as well as a corsair case.

Btw I bought this case real cheap. Will want to use it with my very vanilla setup. I am a bit worried it is to large...that the cables would not be long enough. IS this a problem with this case?

CPu Intel 4570
Mobo: Asrock Fatality H87
HDD/SDD: 2x HDD 1xSDD
PSU: Collermaster V550s
GFX: MSI 270 gaming

Also my motherboard I think is an ATX motherboard. Should I use all 9 offstand?

This is just beautiful... It does look like a giant black box, however, for people who are not in the building game for show and just need something that they can offer customers without making it look like you are trying to push overboard on them, this is a good answer. The fans appear to be easy to clean out which is great for dentist offices. The cable management appears to be in order. What's not to love for office use?
