The only potential use I can see.... IF I had an expensive keyboard.... and I do, with a fresh thick PBT set from a rare GB AND didn't want any potential shine on my WASD-Spacebar set.

Actually its pretty useful to the right niche.

Looks like it'd be a pretty neat piece of hardware but the problem is the price. People aren't going to try them out for that much. I understand it's razed and a lot of detail is put into it but $110 would be the max. Their stuff is really overpriced lately.

i actually like using blue switches i dont have any problem gaming with them on my quickfire rapid keyboard. i currently have a G13 but after switching to Mech keys i cant bring myself to use it, it just feels weird.
i think i may get this even at this price.

What is with Razer and the MX Blues, honestly. One of the worst switches for a gaming keyboard, and they use it.

Come on.

Most companies nowadays just support the 4 most common switches - I wouldn't say blues are necessarily bad for gaming. I use them myself and like it a lot. However, I can see why someone would much rather use browns/reds.

I don't think your regular razer consumer base is even aware of what a mechanical switch is, no harm done here.

I prefer blues for gaming actually, and I play competitively in bf3 and use too in quake. Each his own really.

I don't really see the point in these unless you are the type who does some sort of like, simulator type game. I have a filco and no mouse buttons and I am never in need of extra keys for any game I have played and I play a lot of different games. The use of modifiers and even macros if you play MMOs is more than enough and faster which is more important. So I can't see anyone using this for gaming where there is any sort of time sensitive or skill needed.

Overall I do use razer because the razer abyssus is a very very great RTS mouse with no problems besides durability and some scroll wheel error ( which is fixed by using version 2.00 instead of 2.10 software). And I have a razer goliathus alpha which is also very good quality (my qck+ fell apart very quick). So razer is capable of making good products but the vast majority seem to be gimmicky or trash or way too expensive. I think this fall into one of those categories or maybe all three. The razerblade laptop was one of the worse ideas though..... Im not sure if they will be able to make something as ridiculous as that again XD, and the hype for that was so overdone lol....... it will change gaming forever! Its a....... wait for it....... gaming laptop!

I dont get it, what the difference between moving left or moving right? And if its such a problem I know people who play games who shift over from the WASD standard to to ESDF whether its MMO or FPS or w/e that gives you lots of extra keys if needed, let alone mouse buttons. Personally I like being able to use my pinky on shift in order to keep a type of bearing for when I left my hand because it is very east to return to WSAD and know where I am like that

Im not trolling or trash talking, what is the actual reason to use one of these?

Um........ the mouse replaces the right joystick and triggers of a controller (+mousewheel at base), a keyboard replaces everything else.

I mean..... 108 keys vs 10 buttons?

Mouse and keyboard are both very very important and massive upgrades over controllers, its just how much emphasis we put on aiming since PC was primarily FPS and the major skill involved in gaming was aiming with a mouse, but games like starcraft and even, lol, MMOs require proficiency with a keyboard hand so you can't just discount how important a keyboard is.

Like Im left handed and primarily play RTS with some FPS, but I play right handed because its better to use your dominant hand on the keyboard for RTS type games.
