I like Valve and Steam but why would I buy something that I'll probably only be able to play Source games on with some indie games on the side. That's probably really negative but whatever.

I would wait till we hear more specs and such before making assumptions.

I very scared part of me is wondering if the "8 outpouts" functionality will be enabled if partnered with a Kepler GPU capable of that much horsepower, the way the nVidia Shield is... Not likely, I know, but a scary thought (to me). worriedsmiley.gif

Seeing as the "STEAM-BOX" is NOT the Xi3 makes me wonder what they have up their sleeve...

Might be something beautiful for a HTPC/"GFE"*Nvidia's* Graphics stream from your PC thru Bigfoot, to your home TV....

I was kind of disapointed myself by assuming the Piston was the steambox, apparently It's not as you have said I was just returning to this post to drop the "News" only to find i'm late to the party.

Yeah, the best way to put it is prospecting. Right now things are undecided, either way we will get something solid this year. The new APUs would be real nice, the performance they get would be very acceptable and could easily leave room for "enthusiasts" to have the higher quality.
