Try pinging your ISP and see what you get for example right now if I ping comcast.net I get 80ms, but when I disable gamefuel I get 2000ms (I'm currently doing file sharing).

yeah, 6ms with the old router, 12 to 15 with the gamerlounge

shouldn't it be the other way around

the thing is, it's not always like this. if i get back to my google.com reference ping. it's rarely stable. in the same ping (in DOS mode) it goes to 50 to 100

Have you tried the Router reset button ?. Then try again

i must have hit the reset button a hundred time already. every time i change a setting, i have to reboot.

like i said, it's not optimal but it's working relatively good

after much testing, i've decided to return the damn thing and get myself a much needed external hard drive

with the di-524, i have the same speed when i'm directly plugged in
