Upgrading APUs

Hey, I've just found out that the APU I'm owning (E-350) has the same socket as the AMD E2-1800.

I'm thinking of making the upgrade. Any suggestions??

I really need information especially in terms of compatibility...

Thanks!!!

You can't upgrade that CPU. It's an embedded CPU like the VIA C7 or Intel Atoms so it's attached to the board. Any socket that has "BGA" in it's name means it's soldered to the board.

Is that soooo.....

Well thnx man really appreciate it.

That's it then. Seems like its time for me to buy a new laptop.
Perhaps I'll stroll along the net to see any good bargain.

Any recommendations?! I don't really into extreme gaming.
I think one which could handle need for speed and assassin's creed would suffice.

Any advice is appreciated.smile.gif
