e6300 rig, NEW TO OC"ING very new...

Thread Starter
Hi, I posted this in the intel cpu's section, and well I guess the intel general is "more busy" then the intel cpu section, so I figured i'd copy my post over to here.

Ok, I'd like to know if anyone can give me proper step's on how to oc it.

However first, what is the best suggested "air cooling" for now, (I'm looking @ water cooling, but... that's like 8 months away, while to TURN ON THE PC, I can afford it up to approx mid february by then... to turn it on...mmm...).

So 2 things I guess. 1 best air cooling solution (aside from me using a p180b case and multiple 120mm fan's i'll find that are kickass locally). I'm primarily concerned with what can fit in the case, be "out of the way" but be able to fit in there without interfering with anything else.

Plus the mobo of choice is the i680 nvidia nforce board that recently came out.

This mobo

Anyways, primarily, what step's, what order, etc, should I be "oc'ing". Plus, should I oc right away when I first set things on? Or should I "burn it in" and let it sit there "on" for a few day's, turn it off for a day or 2, then on again, etc...

*Confused*
