I remember I read about the k90 that the reason is to distinguish them from the main keyboard keys, but I think the keys on the k95 are at the same level.

I think the idea of it was to prevent derps (not mistaking the macro keys for Ctrl/Shift/CapsL/Tab), it is like their reasoning behind using cheap rubber dome switches in the original K90. Personally I think this is a bit silly; mechanical keyboards are expensive, performance peripherals and should not compromise efficient use so that people who can't use keyboards can make fewer mistakes.

The mechanical G keys on the K95 are lower to give contrast to the main keys that border them. Specifically when someone is pressing the ESC key its ideal to have the G keys at a lower level.

Make sure you guys visit the K95 page on corsair.com and enter your email for notification on when its available for purchase.

Noooo frown.gif! If only the black version of the K70 was available with white LEDs! In any case, the Corsair team on FB have said that "the K70 and K95 should both be available by the end of April if not earlier".
