If you have an iphone or ipad you can download plex and stream over the internet to your TV. you stream it to your device over the internet and then get a HDMI adapter from apple and output it to the TV. That's what I'm planing on doing. If you hook into someones wifi you should be able to get nice quality video coming from your server.

I'm guessing you only read the OP but yea I'm currently using Plex now and it's great. I stream to both my local TV through my PS3, my GF's TV using a Roku, and to my phone, all working great so far. Thanks for chiming in though thumb.gif.
