[TPU] NZXT Phantom 630 Case Launched - Page 6

The Phantom 630 is just a little smaller, a little more conservative, and a lot cheaper. At $179 MSRP it's still on the expensive side and is clearly an enthusiast case, but unlike the 820, the 630 is using an entirely new chassis built from the ground up. The 820 scored a Bronze Editor's Choice award, but as it turns out, it may not have been a flash in the pan. Once you take a look at the 630, you'll start to understand why I'm beginning to think NZXT is entering a new era and the competition needs to be on their toes.

They gave it a bronze for costing 179? ROFL. Man buys 600 dollar GPU to play WoW that he'll replace in 2 years, cries about a case that costs less than 200 dollars that will last him 10 years.

This comment wouldn't be bias now would it?

$179 is expensive for a mid tower.
Price/performance ratio. You cant expect it to be the "best case" if the price doesn't fit with industry standards.

When you have cases like the bitfenix shinobi and haf 912 at an awesome price, its hard to justify an extra $100 for the 630

As someone who's spent 800 bucks on a case, no, it's not.

i thought it was a full tower. your comment sounds a bit biased but i see from where the anger comes. personally i'd give it silver and that's only for the same reason anand gave it bronze, 180$ msrp. sure it's not too much but it is a tad expensive for some (when considering you can get the 810 for a little less now)

For the extra money the 630 seems to have way more features and flexibility than those other two cases.

Why would you even compare the Shinobi and the HAF 912 to the Phantom 630.

Shinobi and 912 are budget Mid Towers while the Phantom is a enthusiast full tower.

The Phantom has much more functionality and features compared to those two cases.

Since you edited your post. The P630 is NOT a midtower. It's a fulltower. 179 is not hard to justify at all for a full tower with the features it comes with.

While the 630 is a full tower it is smaller than the 820 right?
