This was something I tried to show everyone who stopped by at CES. The tray's aren't exactly the same as what first shipped in the Phantom 820. We have since revised them with a few extra ribs. The goal of being very flexible can often be mistaken as flimsy. The Phantom 820s also include this newer ribbed trays. Granted if the trays arrived maligned OOB, there remains an issue that requires some investigation. However we have done many drop tests with drives installed, 2.5 and 3.5 without issue. As Dustin also explained, when a drive is installed they are perfectly fine and if you are super worried for your 2.5in drives you can bolt them to the steel brackets on the motherboard tray. Above it all, we found the drive trays to function as intended without operation fault. smile.gif

Techpowerup review-http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NZXT/Phantom_630/4.html

I like the matte black color even the motherboard standoffs are black unless a new Switch case comes out before/during Haswell launch I'm definitely getting this.

That matte black finish looks really, really nice. I'm looking at the techpowerup review right now, and the paint job looks stunning. Being able to actually mount sdds to the motherboard tray is cool, and you don't have to remove the motherboard to get to the mounts like another case I saw recently. The modular hdd bay is really neat, too. I use one ssd and two 3.5 hdds, so I usually get stuck with a 3 or 4 drive bay for just two drives. Being able to have a double bay only will save a little space and make it look more tidy inside. Built-in fan controller/hub is also very handy. Dust filters always a plus as well. You'd be surprised how many cases only have one or two dust filters and have three or more intake fans.

Having loved just about everything else, the entire side panel window/fan/mesh thing is a deal breaker for me. There is just no way to make a side panel fan look good, though it does look like NZXT made a really good attempt to try and make it look as neat as possible. I understand that the side fan is pretty nice for people running SLI configurations on air, but I feel like a lot of people are "over" side fans. I actually plan on air cooling my next rig to save on money, and I'm still trying to avoid a side fan. I know the Phantoms are all about the side panel window/fan thing, so it's not really a surprise. Just something that turns me off, personally. I still may get it and try to figure out if I can mod the side panel. I'm sure it's possible, but my mod skills are very not good.

Overall I think it's a great looking, highly functional case, but it would be more appealing to me without the side fan.

Guys this case looks really cool and seems to have lots of functionality. Would you get it or wait til more cases get released during the year?

Also my concern is that we in the UK pay 160 GBP vs 170 $ which is 80$ more expensive:mad:
