But seriously, 54oC is insanely hot :/

To make it worse we had reasonably strong windows, nothing to crazy on their own but combined with 44 degree heat, walking outside yesterday was honestly like walking in front of a hair dryer, except covering your entire body.

Yea 54°C is hot but it´s in central australia in the center of a continet tempratures rise or decline faster casue the water buffer is missing also it´s summer in the south now so i wont interpred too much into it atm.

In central asia there is chilling colds, russi and china has record low tempratures atm.

Beef is cooked to rare at @ 55 C... could cook a roast by putting it in a dark colored dutch oven and sitting it in the sun.... pretty scary.... I wonder how many people die from heat stroke in the average year in Australia?

Heard about this yesterday, was hoping to get some Tennis news but they cancelled the games due to extreme heat. It's crazy, definitely not looking forward to the coming summer lol

Australia......the hell of Earth IMHO. Every single venomous animal/insect, every animal that will eat you for lunch, even the BIRDS there will whoop you on your butt. You cannot even stick your hand in WATER unless you want it eaten by a croc, alligator or Piranhas. Now massive heatwaves......

How anyone in their right mind would live in such a hellhole is beyond me. rolleyes.gif

Heck even the Kangaroos are nuts.....

You forgot about the sharks on the beaches.
You need a thick skin to live here

They don't live here tongue.gif

I used to live in central Australia and it's much different to living on the east coast. A 45c day in central Aus feels like a 35c day on the east coast thanks to the humidity.
