Trust me, you don't want the Aussie sun. It's bad, really bad. The heat is so bad that you'll have trouble sleeping.Over the last week, it's been like that for me. The other day it was 35C at 11pm - try sleeping in that.

Fan + Only a sheet on.

Canberrra here, its been consistently hovering jsut below 40C lately and I think that is a pretty comfortable temperature, but I cannot comprehend 50C, must be exhausting just doing nothing.

Yeah but here in the states everyone is armed so that kangaroo would be missing its head.

Yep - no folding yesterday... 41c at home yesterday. 38c at 1130 pm last night.

I like summer but not that damn much tongue.gif

@ Digikid: Piranhas? I believe you are confusing us with South AMERICA tongue.gif

Holy hell. I think 30C is unbearable, I'd be lucky to remain standing for 5 minutes before passing out in that heat.

My wife is from Brisbane QLD and we ONLY visit during their winter. I refuse to go there during the summer.
Yeah was 43C (110F) here yesterday. Rarely gets above 35C (95F) normally. My gf is on call fire-fighting in Victoria and there's total firebans just about country wide. Been a pretty hot Summer all told, gotta love that climate change wink.gif
