INFO ABOUT THE Asus P8Z77 V-LX Motherboard

Thread Starter
Good Evening i just have a little question. I don't mean to bother but i recently bnought the ASUS P8Z77-V-LX- motherboard combo with the intel core i 5 3570k chipset and i was wondering . my motherboard says it supports a memory module of 32 gb 2400 MHz (o.c)

my question is do i have to overclock the bios in the motherboard?
or
can i just buy a
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
and would this work right without overclocking .or can anybody just tell me the exact memory i can put and how many rams in total?
And do i have to over clock it?
or do i even have to overclock it at all?
What would be the best choice?
Me and my wife are building a gaming machine and this is the specifics of it

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT. WE ARE NEW TO THE OVER CLOCKING SYSTEM AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE COULD TELL US IF WE NEED TO OVERCLOCK OR IF WE CAN JUST SET UP THE RAMS.... ANY HELP WOULD DO
WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST CHOICE? THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE.

The 3570K natively supports DDR3 1333 and DDR3 1600.  So, if you install anything that's higher than 1600 MHz, you will have to manually set it to the stock speed in the BIOS.  It's not overclocking because you're bringing the memory up to its stock speed.  That is, DDR3 1866 will default to DDR3 1600 thereby requiring you to manually set it to DDR3 1866.  So, "2400 MHz (o.c)" means that this motherboard can do that up to DDR3 2400.
