What a nice guy thumb.gif

great service like that is always good to hear. i had similar experience with gary at sidewinder computers and with enzotech. good stuff!

Today I got a couple more fittings I needed.

Fitted the Noiseblocker BlackSilentPro 140mm to the bottom of the case. That will be the push fan.

Still missing two fittings, but they won't be here for a while. I figured I could finish the loop. Here's the pull fan, Noiseblocker eLoop. It's mounted to an XS-PC AX120.

CPU block and pump is the Swiftech Apogee Drive II and those are Monsoon lightports. The left lightport I'm using as a T-split and it connects to the fillport. The right one contains a Monsoon Silver Bullet.

I mounted the Heatkiller block along the length of the card. As a temporary measure, I had to run a tube out of the front of the block and around back to the rad.

You can see here on the left the angle fitting and directly under it, that nickel circle is where the tube ends up. Obviously, when I get the two fittings I need, it will be a much shorter path from GPU to rad.

Here's she is ready for launch. I will be making a bracket for the fillport so it isn't just hanging at the top there. And as I said, the left most tube will be replaced with something clever smile.gif

Looks great! There's one thing you should really consider though. Those eloop fans are fully designed to be push only. They perform very badly as pull and the design itself creates an annoying noise when mounted as pull.

I can't link ya as I'm on my phone but I can find it later.

Just throwing that out there.

I love the look of them too.

I'm still fiddling with the loop at the moment. I got one of these U connectors in the hope to fix the rad directly to the GPU, but it's 0.7 millimeters wrong, won't screw in tongue.gif

Update about the exciting journey of the missing fitting. Geno had it sent from Hong Kong on Monday at 3pm, it was in the Netherlands before 10am the next morning. Then it went to customs for a few days. Once they released it, it was at my door within a few hours, but I was at the office. Hopefully tomorrow I can finally add it into the loop.

There's still the problem of the connection from the rad to the GPU block. As I mentioned in the post above, I had received the Koolance 180 fitting on Tuesday, but it was just not possible to screw it in. I had drained the loop and tried pretty much all combinations of 45 degree, 90 degree, 180 degree adapters that I have. I found two solutions, needing a combination of 6 fittings, but it would mean using different ports than I intended, and would look very ugly. I don't want to compromise about this, so I had a new idea.

Going to bend this to a 45 degree angle, give it a 2mm kink perpendicular to the curve, and cut it short. Very short. Trouble is that is must be only about 23mm long on the outside of the curve, that's shorter than the width of my thumb. To mould the inner curve, I'll need very accurate measurements and probably use something like a drill bit to bend it around.

Very nice looking build, glad someone else is throwing a gpu/cpu combo on a 120 rad, how thick is that rad? fpi?

I'll be interested to see what fans speeds you need to keep the temps in line.

Edit: found the rad is 40mm thick but with the fancy enclosure, the core is 21mm thick, now I'm really curious about it's cooling ability against something like the Alphacool 80mm Monsta rad I used. Still not finding out the fpi for this rad on the XSPC site?
