XSPC Raystorm + 240MM Rad + XSPC Res/Pump Giveaway - Page 7

I've already ordered my parts (Been waiting 2 weeks for them to ship...) however I am going to move my girlfriend over to water cooling and these would do wonders towards that goal.

Or I might use them in a folding rig, trying to get my co-workers at my IT firm to get into it and create a team.

First, Thanks for the giveaway.

Why do I need this? Well, I do quite a bit of 3D rendering and running a computer for 48+ hours at 100% load can generate a quite a bit of heat! I have been considering buying a better cooling kit (such as liquid cooling kit), but alas, I do not the capital to invest in such an endeavor. Thusly I call upon you, my friend, to consider helping a student like me in obtaining a liquid cooling kit.

Thanks again.

I would love to win this! I have always wanted to try watercooling but don't really have the funds. I'd make a badass loop with the raystorm tongue.gif

Wow, awesome giveaway. I'm definitely in for this.

I'd love this for my current build and for a case mod I'm working on. I'd put in in my Arc Midi and put my CPU under water and add my GPU to the loop when I have enough saved up. I already window modded the case and a water cooling system would make it look that much sexier. For the case mod, I was recently given a Mac G5 case that I'm planning on powder coating and modding into a water cooled hackintosh build. I was in grad school until a couple of months ago, so I never had the time or money to afford water cooling (most of my current build was gifted or purchased with money earned through Amazon Mechanical Turk). Now I'm still looking for work, so I still don't have the money to afford it. It'd be awesome to get something like this so I could finally delve into water cooling and fit it into a case mod I've been wanting to do for a long time.

I'd like this because my girlfriend's nephew that comes over sometimes just sits in front of mine looking at my system and is always asking me about it. He's 8 and well I know his mom and dad won't drop the moola to get him a nice water cooling rig. He's an avid fps gamer and I would like to just surprise him with his first watercool build.

Thanks for the giveaway contest!

I have tried to get into WCing before, but it was too expensive.

I had already read every thread I could find about how to, and ordered some parts which I later cancelled/returned because I couldn't afford a full closed loop the way I wanted to tongue.gif
Even bought an aquarium pump to save money! Hahahah

This would help me on my dad's PC. Audio editing and creation needs a silent computer, and watercooling can be silent as heck biggrin.gif

I would use that cpu block to replace my aging XSPC rasa block, and i was thinking of buying a 240rad but if i get this then i would use it for my front bays. As for the pump/res combo, i can give it to my friend who is currently thinking of buying a full w/c loop but doesn't have enough funds atm. The pump/res would really help him out.

Thanks for the giveaway! thumb.gif
