The 7300GT actually overclocks well However that Aside i would go for the 6800XT. Especially if you are thinking of gaming...From what i know you cant unlock the XT. However i may be wrong.

The PCIe 6800XTs cannot be unlocked. Out of the two, your best bet will be the 7300GT.
The 7300GT is 128Mb AFAIK, so it is at a loss of memory size compared to the 6800XT. Have you considered the X1650Pro, X1600XT?

Another vote for the 7300GT They do OC very well. On the other hand, the 6800XT PCIe is not unlockable, like skyline said.

Last time i checked the specs of the 7300 Was less than impressive..I must have another card mixed up.

The GDDR3 version of the 7300GT is a huge amount faster than a standard 7300GT Enterprise. The 7300GT is definitely the better performer out of those two especially when overclocked. They have tons of headroom.

SInce the 7300gt with GDDR3 is an underclocked 7600GT(i think) , it would beat a X1600pro anyday , right?

I wouldnt say it would smoke it..Perhaps on par or a tiny bit better. Going by performance between the 7600GT and X1600XT

Well , i'm still in doubt.
in tom's hardware benchies, the 6800XT would kill the 7600gs, and be pretty close to the 7600GT.....
I generally go by benchmarks myself. Im thinking the 6800XT will be the better buy IMO.
