XSPC 5.25 Dual Bay Reservoir LEAKING at pump [w/ Pics] - Page 6

So far my experience with XSPC has been really good, the only thing that bothers me is the darn paint finish on my reservoir scratches if you just look at it. Sorry to hear about your problems with them, We gotta remember guys that all these water cooling company are small, and are more prone to quality control issues (due to less funding).

I actually have the same problem as the OP and I have tried re seating the gasket and tightening the ring as well but nothing works. It would suck air in and start leaking. What do you guys suggest I do?

Double check to make sure it's not leaking at the top and running down around the screw rim to drop at the bottom. Seems like that's what happens with these reservoirs, and mine still does. My best guess is that as the loop heats up, pressure builds until the res cannot withstand it, the lid warps (as seen in many pictures) and drips escape.

I still have not fixed this issue, I really don't have time to tear my loop apart again mad.gif

I would have to re fill the stupid thing again and check. But I thought you received a replacement and that worked fine or the replacement had the same problem again. Would you guys suggest a better reservoir which doesn't have a lot of issues.

The replacement I received worked okay for about a month. After that it developed the same issue, and now leaks water until it's down to about 70% full (according to the front window) when the water can no longer reach the lid... therefore it cannot escape.

It seems like the drip comes from the site of the pump but in most cases I'd bet it's actually coming from the lid at the known warping spot.
AFAIK there's no better res of the same style, although I'd be willing to try the clear acrylic one if XSPC would do the right thing and send me an exchange. I don't want to bug the vendor again it's not his fault this thing leaks and he already express mailed me a replacement / return box, it's not fair to him.

I guess there is some kind of problem with the build quality of this reservoir. You had two and they both had the same problem I don't think I want to waste my time with RMA I might just buy this reservoir instead. Since if I get a replacement I might get the same problem again after a month. I just want to set my PC and not worry about it but this one is giving problems after 2 months. I think you were talking about this reservoir right?

That's the one I bought like a month ago and not had a problem since then, love it.

I think you had the black one as well and yours was leaking too if I am correct? How is the performance on this one. Does it fit in your Switch 810 case since I have the same case.
