My point is the Intel chip is more impressive from a power standpoint. Intel accomplishes what AMD can at half the TDP. Some will pay the premium for less power/heat, I won't. With that said, I'm neither an Intel or AMD fan.

It's not entirely fair to compare a 22nm chip to a 32nm one. Even with Kaveri, AMD will still be quite a bit behind in process technology (28nm). So AMD will pretty much always use more power at the same performance level if we're not considering architecture differences.

Should be quite a bit less. I would expect something around 2500 in 3dm11 which is around on par with a 7750.

What are YOU talking about??

When the crossfire between the 8670D and the 7750 would actually work well (which isn't very often), it would be easily beaten by a 5850 and true six core Phenom CPU.

The only thing the a10 + 7750 combo would win at would be being more efficient given the smaller manufacturing process and new CPU commands.

You know, there are 65W TDP APUs that have the 8670D in them and 4 cores, like the A10-6700.
