its going to be the exact same performance as the 5800k maybe with one more fps because of the over clock.

No... I ran the BETA on low settings @ 1920 x 1080 @ about 35fps on average with the A10-5800K. That was with 13.1B drivers.

You get about the same frames in FC3, but I haven't played Far Cry since 12.11B drivers.
1080p at 35fps? Benchmarks show below 20 for Richland: http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/4461/8/amd-a10-6800k--a10-6700-cpu-review-richland-tested-benchmarks-igpu-crysis-3-1920x1080-low

We were talking about Crysis 3. The Intels do way worse in the benchmark actually and the A10s are tested with 2133mhz memory so I don't see what you're talking about.

I'm curious to know if any of you know if there's any information available comparing the A10-6800K to a Phenom II X4 965 BE? I'm very interested to know how well the A10-6800K performs in comparison to the Phenom II X4 965 BE, more specifically in gaming.

well to bring in the TDP talk, better take a look at the i7-4950hq

Half of the A10-6800k's TDP, yet....

That's all within a 47 watt envelope...for laptops....

They didn't have a 6800k in that review, I was using the 5800k as my comparison...but they're basically the same.

That would depend on what graphics card is running with the 965BE. Without that information, there's no way to know.

Performance of the 6800K is comparable to 5800-K
