I can try my durndest. Any specific titles and settings? I only have access to my 1440p screens until June 23ish, then I'll be able to test 1080p.

at $90 bucks that's a pretty good deal. We might have a chip that will dethrone the PhIIx4 965 as the sub $100 chip of choice. I mean all things equal the a10-5800k was basically identical to the PhII in compute tasks.

the A10-6800k overclocks much better then the 5800k... so the athlon ii x4 760k might be a winner.

The 6800 is 5% faster out of the box than Trinity. The 5800 is OC-able to about 4.2ghz on the CPU side, and 1ghz on the GPU side YMMV. The best thing Richland has going for it performance wise has to be the 2400 RAM support which is cool, but pricey too. (I got 2100 sticks 8gb for $35 when I got the 5800).

So yeah, lets see how this thing can overclock...could be great...5ghz would be awesome!

Understand that when we refer to the company claim of 20-40% faster, we are talking about stock setup, not OC capability.thumb.gif

I would say the Athlon is better than the phenom because of the motherboard offerings. There are no am3 itx or decent micro atx motherboards compared to fm2
