Was just curious is 56c temps was good or bad for a geforce 7950 gt oc'd to 620mhz core clock, and 1.50ghz mem clock freq, I'm new to vid card cooling so I never paid attention to these temps

It's just the stock cooler, and its 512mb, those temps are just idleing I beleive tho, not sure if there is a big difference between idle and load temps on a vid card

HUGE difference - those clocks are VERY good for a 512 Mb version, in fact, too good, are they stable?

Yes, theres a HUGE difference between idle and load - on my 7950GT (256 Mb version) im running 625 MHz Core, and it idles at 40, but hits 60 on load (stock cooling) - if you idle at 56 then i would do a 5 min "burn in" in ATiTool and see what you hit under load - i think you may be shocked!

And hey! Same Heatsink! If only mine worked very well!

Yeah they are very stable, I ran my temp monitor while running 3dmark06 and it got as high as 77c, and went back to normal after about 1-2 minutes, I'm only using the stock cooler.
I got to those speeds by using Coolbits and clicking the detect optimal settings under the OC tab, and it originally gave me 649Mhz and 1.59, but those didn't run very stable, so I just lowered them to a reasonable number, now it works flawlessly, no artifacts while playing.

Do you think that 77c is high in full load?
