Post your 3DMark11 Scores here! (Windows 8 only)

Thread Starter
As I and some others seem to be getting lower 3Dm11 scores on Windows 8, I thought it would be interesting to post our Windows 8 ONLY scores here and compare with other users using W8.

I'll start:

i72600k 4.6ghz @ 1.34v
Asus GTX 670 @ +125clock / +550mem
16GB 1600mhz RAM @ 1866mhz stock 1.5v

On Windows 7, the above setup with a lower 4.5ghz cpu oc, 1600 RAM and slightly higher core clock (+11) but lower mem freq (+500) resulted in much higher numbers:

The +11 on the core couldn't be responsible for significantly higher numbers, and I know that the boost clock fluctuates too much around +130 upwards and therefore posts lower, inconsistent results.

It'd be interesting to see other Windows 8 users results.

That is one big graphic score! Wow!

I actually reinstalled Windows 7 on another HDD in my system last night and re-run the benchmarks, and the difference was minimal compared to Windows 8, around 50 points. I don't know why my system was scoring so much higher with the same hardware on Windows 7 a while back though. That was before I updated 3Dmark11.

Unfortunately there are so many variables, but at least this thread can still serve for only Windows 8 results as a more even playing field.

Totally jealous of your setup by the way smile.gif

Thanks.

An even better one with MB bios and GPU driver update.

AMD seem to have really done a good job with the newer drivers. Can't believe all that time since the 79's were released they had all this untapped power. How do the 3 cards scale in game?
