Ok, one of the guys from Chillblast.co.uk, the retailer i just bought the 7900GT from, has just phoned me up to inform me on the situation on my accesories that were lost etc.

I emailed them because i had not received the DVI->VGA adapter after 2 days, so i think this prompted them to call.

Well basically, he sent me the adapter by 1st class Royal Mail, which as he said, probably wasnt a good idea because of the time of year.

So hes got one of his collegues to send me one through Royal Mail Special Delivery. This means it'll get here by 1pm tomorrow, else i can shout at the royal mail and claim back the cost of delivery.

Even after all this waiting and other crap, i am still impressed by Chillblast's customer service.

Oh, and they said that they spoke to BFG and they said i won't get the accesories back, but CB said that NO WHERE on BFG's email for the RMA say to not send the accesories, so they are going to keep hassling BFG for me until i do get them.

<3 Chillblast.

Hell, I hope after all this headache and waiting you get your rig up and running man, lol. That Cell Shock RAM looks sweet. Hope you get some nice OC's with the rig, seems like it has a lot of potential.

Yarr, got mails to say overclockers.co.uk received my RMA intact, and another saying that they have sent one out.

Wont arrive till monday though, as delivery service is only mon-fri.

Also, the adapter did kind of arrive today... I was in bed, and so wasnt awake to accept it, lol. It probably would have gone through the letterbox, but Special Delivery requires a signature.

my mum and sister always go into town on the weekends, so they are going to go to the main post office there and pick it up.

Oh, and my MTB got stolen -_-. Had to walk home... Grr.

Insurance does cover it, but you have to pay £100 excess, and it would mean my parents would lose their 30% no-claims bonus. £100 excess on a £180 bike, not worth it TBH Gonna see how much i can get for my BMX on part-ex, and maybe buy a nice cheap MTB for about £30 (after part-ex). Don't wanna spend to much, i got my eye on those Raptors

Omg lol, your avatar gave me a laugh ^^

I can't be bothered to get worked up about my bike. I got a BMX i can part-ex in for hopefully about £100, and my grandad says hell pay £50 towards a nwe bike. £30 from me and i can get a direct replacement for what got stolen.

Anyway, back to my build.

Checked the tracking data on the motherboard, its expected to arrive monday. Nice surprise, as i thought it would likely arrive on the tuesday.

I get monday off work, so its building time!!

Oh, and the 7900GT is in. No problems so far. Gonna run some benchies (not done them for ages) and do a artifact scan for about an hour to make sure its working 100%. And this time, im not gonna push the OC to high, not without proper cooling on the memory ICs.

Oh, and with the BT and its silent fan, the 7900GT is now the loudest part of my PC. Its a soft sound though, and with music on its inaudiable. With my old stock HS you couldnt hear anything else, lol.
