Do you have the 7M the 1JZ?

whole 'lotta emotes in my posts lately...

Currently no engine. Kinda of a project car I've had for a very long time. I had a 1JZ at one point, and a lootttttt of stuff.. but sold it all. I plan on doing a 1.5 jz in it someday, not sure when my money will let me. I'm SupraOfDoom on Supraforums / Supramania FYI.

Im running my U2713HM off the 3770K integrated GPU and ran it off the 2600K integrated GPU prior to this (my 580 is running WCG projects and the integrated GPU allows me to use the computer with no lag whatsoever).

It does have to be through display port, although I have heard some manufactures might allow DVI DL but I can't confirm it. The HD3000/HD4000 is plenty powerful for playing movies, running the desktop, and even gaming albeit best in either windowed mode or with settings turned down. I play simple stuff like Torchlight II or SPAZ in a 1280x720 window routinely without problems. For s&g's I loaded Torchlight II at full 1440p res and it runs but at ~20fps.

I tried reading the article but a few clicks and I was reading an article about building a replica of Han's blaster from Star Wars.

I am glad to see more of these popping up at reasonable prices, gives me hope that 4k monitors will start filling the high end and the "1440p" will stay down below $500.

Any questions?

I was looking at the first pic before reading the description to decide which one I really liked better. The dell looks washed out with pretty bad black levels and low contrast. The mono looks dim but with much better blacks. It's almost as if the dell would be perfect for web browsing, writing papers, etc and the mono would excel at cinema type movies and story driven potentially dark games (like Metro).

It sucks there are no color calibration on the monitor, however, can't you control these in the CCC/Nvidia CC? I don't think it would work incredibly well due to the calibrations there changing both monitors, but if you were running 2 or 3 monoprice monitors you could potentially make them look better that way.

Thanks for the pics and thoughts, unfortunately that means this will not be the monitor for me. I'm still waiting on a 1440p+ monitor with 120hz.
