For me to say this is sad as I am anti ATI, but for what you are getting in the 1950 hands down that is your better bet. 20 pipes on the nvidia vs the 48 pipes on the ati. Not to mention the memory is running at 1800 mhz on the ati.

Go with the 7900gs ko, its cheaper and in the newest maximum pc, outpoerformed the x1950pro in all but one benchmark. They overclock well too, ( I honestly don't know how the x1950pro overclocks), I got mine running at 590/770 with stock volts and cooler, no problem.

£131 = $255USD
£148 = $290USD

Go with the x1950XT. It's hands down way more powerful, and more performance per dollar.

In the US there's 7900GS's for $150, which are obviously way better value, but that 7900GS is a total rip-off.

Go with the 1950xt, blows away any card except the 8 series.
You realize thats about a $100 difference in a card? Lets be realistic, if you went for any card to beat a 7900GS and stay around the same price it would be a x1950PRO not an XT. And the x1950xtx would blow any card away besides the 8 series...
