Lmao, thank you so much for posting ^that^ after his elitist comment. I'm a console hater myself but that is the sort of stuff that makes people hate us PC gamers and why many studios wish to avoid development for the PC. +Rep thumb.gif

Hardly elitist. It's well known that the keyboard and mouse are superior controls for the majority of games.

That's not the point, I fully agree with that statement "It's well known that the keyboard and mouse are superior controls for the majority of games." but you still sound like an elitist jerk when you say things in the manner in which you did simply because you're a PC user. I know a lot of people who game on consoles and know it's sub-par but they can't afford a PC and they see people like you and me as elitist jerks when you say things in such a cocky manner.

There's a reason why developers hate PC gamers and say they whine too much and are too picky. Your word choice is a perfect example of their frustrations. smile.gif

I can use my tower for heavy gaming, my PS3/360 for my console exclusives, and the Ouya for my good old Emulator games.

So, Yes, I will be getting one.

Yup! Kickstarter backed and an extra controller. Will be something cool to play around with and possibly practice developing on for $130. Most likely will be modding the body of it if there isn't any kind of warranty or anything on release.

There is no objective measure of better, you just like it because it works for you (and many others). Even if 100% of people prefer it, that's not an objective measure of "better".

You can have faster, clearer, more precise, more accurate, etc. Better is undefinable.

e.g. I prefer Mouse + Keyboard. It doesn't make it superior.

For FPS hands down, keyboard and mouse is the best and most accurate, but this doesn't mean controllers aren't useful, I still enjoy playing some FPS games with controllers. For MMO's I'd say it's a toss up depending on the play style, some I find controllers do great at, while others have too many controls to really be effective with a controller. Most other games, controllers are more than capable.

Some days my GF is on my computer here so gaming on it is a no go, at least, I don't want to be the one to tell her she needs to get off so I can play a game.

I'm trying to get a handle on both the Ouya and Nvidia Gaming handheld "Project Thor" or whatever it's called. (Nvidia) - In addition to my PC, if I can play the same content via the Nvidia device to throw my PC title to my LED 50" TV that fits the bill and is flexible. I would have already picked up a Wii U but I wasn't impressed with the overall games selection.

I guess it depends on timing somewhat. Does anyone know when any of these is going to arrive for the public? I know dev-kits for OUYA are being delivered which could be nice as I do actively create Unity3d programs.
