AMD Mini ITX Mobo's?

Thread Starter
Why does no one make AMD 970, 990, and 990fx chip set mobo's in Mini ITX form factor? It's like, if you want to do a mini build, you have to do Intel. If there is and I'm not finding them, please point me in the right direction. I would love to see these come out if that I'm correct in them not existing.

The only one *was* this one, the M4A88-I DELUXE.

It's simply not in stock anywhere now.

I'm guessing that AMD CPUs have a larger mounting area than Intel's and munch so much power the power delivery system that needs to be made for AMD CPUs is just way too big to fit. Although the P8Z77-I deluxe *did* have the VRM daughterboard...

Otherwise you'll have to go FM1/FM2.

I've been looking for a 990 Itx or mAtx as well for a HTPC build.

it pisses me off that to get solid gaming performance out of a mini ITX build you HAVE to go Intel. What happened to choices?

Why don't you just get an Athlon 750k and pair it with an MITX FM2 board? The performance is nearly (around 1-2fps slower) the same as an FX4350.

I can't seem to find anyone that sells it is the main problem

Pair that with a 750k and a good GPU and you're set.

At CES, I think ASRock announced a new mITX FM2 mobo as well.
