Will twin frozr 7950 fit in my cm storm scout case?

Will twin frozr 7950 fit in my cm storm scout case? I really need to upgrade from my 5850, but Im not sure if I have place enough.

The page below says it can support up to 267 mm or 270 mm which should be excactly enough, but looking inside the case it don't seem like there's that much place.

the MSI HD 7950 twin frozr currently being sold at newegg uses the HD 7970 PCB with 8 pin and 6 pin power . its almost 11 inches long.

you can see the MSI HD 7950 Twin frozr pictures in an ANTEC 300 case which can fit graphics cards upto 279 mm length (11 inches)

the XFX HD 7950 DD is 10.5 inches long and should fit within 267 mm. see specifications . 262 mm long

The dimensions listed where I might buy the card is different:

Two cards which seem to be excactly the same have different length

26,1 cm

26,7 cm

I'm also starting to wonder wether I should go for gtx 670 instead as they seem to be smaller, or maybe a 680 as they can be 26,7 too, but 680 cost lie 55 dollar more

its safer to go for XFX HD 7950 DD black edition as its surely 26.2 cm

a GTX 670 is a slightly costlier alternative. 10 inches . 25.4 cm.

Hmm, the netshop I bought the case from says that it can only fit 26 cm cards or smaller. I hope they are wrong.

As far as I understand 7950 will be better than 670 if I overclock it?

And will I be able to get the same performance from a xfx 7950, as a twin frozr?

EDIT: I also found PowerColor Radeon HD 7970 3GB card which is only 26,5 cm :

My XFX DD 7950 3GB fits in my Storm Scout just fine, it fits in all PCI-E slots with a bit of wiggleing around.

you can fit the powercolor HD 7970. here is the info from coolermaster. also measure your case to see if max clearance is 27 cm as mentioned.

http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/landing/scout/faq.php

"What is the maximum length graphics card supported?
The CM Storm Scout is designed with portability in mind. It can accommodate the largest 280GTX or HD 4870 X2 type cards. This includes all GPU 10.5" or 267mm in length or shorter. GPU cards have a maximum clearance for 10.6" or 270mm maximum length inside the Scout. "

Thank you for your answers, I have measured my case and it seems like its more like 26 cm place than 27cm. It's possible I didn't measure 100% correct, but I doubt its 27 cm.

Atomfix: Would the card fit if it was 5 mm larger? And you write on your profile that your case is modded?

Iv'e modded it to fit another radiator in front of the HDD cage, I managed to fit a XFX 5870 card in my scout, but just barely! It would only fit on the top PCI-E slot, so I don't think your going to fit another 5mm in, Unless you got a PCI-E Extender like this Click me! for example

5870? You said My XFX DD 7950 3GB ?

I dont think a pci extender would help much, as I still have to access the hdmi outtake.
