ATi Tray Tools and Overdrive

I have found that Overdrive will OC my card much higher then ATi Tools or ATi Tray Tools however I like the fan controlling of Tray Tools. So my question is will Tools effect my clock in Overdrive I have it set to kick in on 3d apps.

No if you dont have an overclock profile running on ATI tools you should be fine.

As long as you dont disable the ATI process when you open ATI Tool or ATT, you should be fine. But also remember there is a reason why you get a much higher OC in CCC. CCC Relaxes the memory timings of the card as it overclocks, so it typically reaches higher top end, but not necessarily the best performance. Its good to do a battery of benches to see which performs the best.

Is there proof that it in fact loosens the timings? The memory settings are not support in Ati Tools on the x1950Pro.
