Also make sure to search on YouTube "Hologram Universe"

There you go.
Actually it is all based around one person. It's all based around you. You create everything with your mind including other people and their opinions and these conversations on here.

The point about the cavity went way over your head. When you're numbed up pain does not exist when they drill at your teeth. Try asking your dentist to drill at your teeth without local and see the response that you get LOL.

"Things" only exist because your mind creates them.

I'm still kind of waiting for the peer reviewed literature supporting this hypothesis. I believe we were promised some?

The idea that living matter is in any way special, to the extent that complex neurological processes directly effect the observed universe via a previously unknown force, is a bold claim.

What is this force, how does it function? What level of complexity is required for "observation" by a biological entity to "create" the universe?

Would a sufficiently complicated synthetic entity cause the same effect? What experiments can you devise to test the hypothesis?

Significance and size don't exist on the same spectrum, since you wanna get all technical. See, you're conflating tangible qualities with intangible ones. Objective vs. subjective. Which is what I said in my subsequent post which you skipped. Hope that wasn't intentional (of course I'm sure you will make it apparent shortly if it was).

And anyway, the universe is relative to what?

Anything about space depresses me. So many unknowns, so massive I feel mankind will never know anything about it... and definitely not in our lifetimes.

Don't be so sure about that smile.gif Technology is evolving so fast that, who knows... I'm not saying anything and don't want to get out of subject, but think about it smile.gif

So if say, you died, the world won't exist anymore ? It will still exist for others. Several people died, and the world is still here and we are still existing on it. Is that only my point of view ? thinking.gif

That would be an interesting theory, but dinosaurs and trilobites were here way before humans, we were not here to create them simply by observation.
we only found their remains and evidence of their existence. in fact 'they' had a bigger hand in creating 'us.'
humans are in no way the shapers of the universe as the theory implies.
now i must throw feces
